Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification to conduct Common Written Examination (CWE) for the posts of Officers and Office Assistant  (Multipurpose) for 56 Regional Rural Banks (Gramin Banks). Applications are invited for the Thirs CWE for Rural Banks Officer posts (Scale-I, II and III) and Office-Assistants, for which CWE will be conducted.

IBPS CWE RRB Officers and Office Assistant  (Multipurpose) Recruitment 2014

IBPS will conduct Online CWE for RRBs for the recruitment of Group A – Officers (Scale I, II, III) and Group B – Office Assistants (Multipurpose) tentatively in September 2014.

Edcuational Qualification

For Office Assistants (Multipurpose) - Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent and Proficiency in local language
For Officer Scale II (General Banking Officer) – Degree in any discipline with minimum 50%
For Officer Scale II (Specialist Officer):

• IT Officer - Degree from a recognised University in Electronics/Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. AND 1 Year experience
• Chartered Accountant – Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants AND 1 Year experience of India
• Law Officer - Degree from a recognised University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate AND 2 Year experience of India
• Treasury Manager – Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or MBA in Finance from a recognized university/institution AND 1 Year experience of India
• Marketing Officer – MBA in Marketing from a recognized university AND 1 Year experience of India
• Agricultural Officer – Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairy/ Animal Husbandry/Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/Pisciculture from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate AND 2 Years Experience

For Officer Scale III – Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks AND Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institutions
Language Proficiency – The candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistants –(Multipurpose) in any particular RRB or RRBs are required to possess proficiency in the local language of the St ate / UT in which the RRB is situated to be eligible for interview, as per the notificati on of the concerned RRB (The condition does not apply for the posts of Officer Scale II an d III). For ensuring proficiency in local language, the candidate should have –
a. Local language at 10thStd level OR
b. Native language at 10thStd level OR
c. Local language at any level upto graduation level
Age Limit :
As on 01.06.2014
For Officer Scale- III – 21 to 40 years
For Officer Scale- II – 21 to 32 years
For Officer Scale- I – Below 28 years
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) – 18 to 28 years

For SC/ST/PH – Rs 100/-
For General and Others – Rs 600/-

How To Apply

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However a candidate can apply for only one post in officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates have to apply separately and pay fees separately for each post. Candidates can apply online only from 18.06.2014 to 09.07.2014 and no other mode of application will be accepted.
